Vallabhaneni Vamsi Announces Quitting Politics:- Krishna district firebrand leader and Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi announced his resignation for TDP and as MLA for Gannavaram. In a shock, Vallabhaneni Vamsi said that he is all set to quit politics. The development came two days after he met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy at his Amaravati residence. Vallabhaneni Vamsi penned a letter to TDP leadership that he decided to resign citing YSRCP's harassment. Andhra Pradesh cops registered a cheating case against Vallabhaneni Vamsi about a land scam. Vamsi said that he and his followers landed in neck-deep troubles due to the attitude of the local YSRCP leaders.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi decided to restrain himself and quit politics after a series of incidents that happened in Gannavaram constituency. There are speculations that Vallabhaneni Vamsi may quit TDP and join YSRCP soon, he announced that he would stay away from politics. The Hanuman Junction police booked Vallabhaneni Vamsi for distributing house sites with forged signatures. This disturbed Vamsi badly and soon he decided to quit politics. Vallabhaneni Vamsi happened to be a crucial leader for TDP from Krishna district region. Despite of a huge wave for YSRCP in the recent Assembly polls, Vallabhaneni Vamsi won from Gannavaram constituency.
