Rahul Dravid Named as the Head of National Cricket Academy:- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) appointed former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid as the head of National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Dravid will take care of the cricket related activities at National Cricket Academy. He will be coaching, training and mentoring the players, coaches along with the support staff in National Cricket Academy. The 46-year-old veteran cricketer has been working closely with the coaches of women and men's cricket. He will now help the identification of key training and development objectives.

At National Cricket Academy, Dravid will also monitor the progress and will provide all the needed inputs for the coaches. Rahul Dravid is working as the head coach for India A and under-19 team. Rahul Dravid played a crucial role in carving several young players like Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw. Rahul Dravid thanked BCCI for the opportunity.
