iOS Maps debacle to be forgotten with Google Maps

With Apple users ending up in the sea or in the middle of nowhere while navigating on the Apple Maps; Google has come to the rescue with its own version of Maps which was popular on the rival OS, Android. Google has now officially released their Maps application on the iOS bringing the much needed relief for Apple fanboys.

"People around the world have been asking for Google Maps on iPhone. Starting today, we're pleased to announce that Google Maps is here” a Google executive said.

More of the maps can be seen on the screen and it appears to be sharper with smooth navigation and switching between 3D or 2D.

This version of Google Maps can be used on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, the third-, fourth- and fifth-generation iPod touch and iPad which runs iOS 5.1 or higher.
