iPhone 8 Photo Information Leaked, Rumored By iDrop News

A new piece of information has popped up online, by iDrop news, that shows a mock up photo, of Apple company’s iPhone 8.

The new phone will not be called iPhone 8. Instead, it will be called, “iPhone Edition.”

The iPhone 8 with glossy back variant showed the device from the front and back, with a dual-camera set up.

Recently, Samsung has launched its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ flagship smart phones. These flagship smart phones, have taken all the fans and market competitors by a storm.

Now, all eyes are on their obvious rival company, Apple.

The picture indicates that the iPhone 8, will look similar, to the Galaxy S8.

It appears to have the slightly curved edges on the left and right side, at the front side, as the Galaxy S8 and S8+, and thin bezels on the top and bottom.

The back of the device has some weird design changes like a vertical dual camera setup instead of the horizontal one, seen on the iPhone 7 Plus. The LED flash is placed right below the capsule-shaped camera setup.

The device even has a fingerprint scanner at the back, right in the middle.

The screen is said to have, an Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) panel with 2.5D glass protection.

However, none of the above given information has been confirmed by the company yet.

As per reports published in The Bell and spotted by MacRumors, OLED technology requires less power than LCD displays and produces brighter colors.

Apple company, is planning to manufacture 60 million iPhone 8 units with OLED displays this year, with about 40% of their production overall.

It is also planning to double the number next year, and OLED display will become the standard across all iPhone lines by 2019.

The latest iPhone 8 will come with a lot of updates, like the OLED display, new sensor system, a function area embedded into the screen to replace the home button for Touch ID, and wireless charging.

The iPhone, with all these updates, is estimated to increase the cost to  more than USD 1,000.
