Mani Ratnam Gets Top South Actors on Board for his Next:- Versatile director Mani Ratnam is working on his next big-budget project Ponniyin Selvan which is expected to roll during the end of this year. He recently wrapped up the script work and the film is a multi-starrer with several top South Indian actors on board. Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Satyaraj, Nassar, Sarath Kumar and Atharvaa Murali are the lead actors in this historic drama.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Nayanthara, Anushka, Amala Paul, Keerthy Suresh and Rashi Khanna are the female leads in Ponniyin Selvan. The film is based on a novel based on the life story of Tamil King Raja Raja Cholan. Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies will jointly bankroll this prestigious project.
