Oxygen Analysis
Oxygen has a decent first half but it reveals nothing much. Set in a village backdrop, the film has decent entertainment, love track and and interesting interval bang. The songs are a sheer disappointment and the interval episodes raise curiosity on Oxygen. On the whole, the first half of Oxygen manages to end up decent.
The second half of Oxygen, which is quite crucial for the film, fails to live up the expectations. Poor screenplay and the predictable narration makes the film fall flat. The songs once again leaves the audience disappointed and the action episodes have been decent. Gopichand delivers out a packed performance but this alone could not save the film. Oxygen second half is a huge disappoinment.
Performance
Gopichand tops the show with his outstanding performance throughout the film. He assigned both the assigned roles with utmost perfection. Rashi Khanna has been gorgeous in her role and she has been extremely beautiful. Anu Emmanuel has been glamorous in the crisp role and she shined in all the episodes. Jagapathi Babu has been flawless as usual in the assigned role and Ali, Vennela Kishore delivered out the needed entertainment. All the other actors have been decent in their assignments.
Oxygen has an outdated plot and the screenplay makes the film shattered. The dialogues looked ok and the music misses melody. Though the background score looked decent, all the songs can be given a skip. The production values have been decent and AM Jothi Krishna fails to make an impact with his directorial abilities once again with Oxygen.
Oxygen Final Word
Oxygen fails in all the available ways to step out with interesting stuff and engaging narration. Gopichand tops the show with his stupendous performance.
