Health Tips: How to Deal Panic Attack at Work:- At work stress, when you are left in panic, focus shifts towards and it is quite difficult to return back to normal in quick time. Panic attack is common today across the workspace all over as most of them are leading hectic lives. It is a sudden onset of intense fear or discomfort that can bring severe physical symptoms. This even happens without any warning when there is no real danger or strong cause. These may vary between individuals but the symptoms reach peaks in minutes.
According to a report by the World Health Organisation, an estimated 56 million people suffer from depression and 38 million from anxiety disorders. Age groups between 34 and 47 are reported to have the highest levels of stress. Some of the symptoms are shortness of breath, feeling of suffocation, pounding heart rate, loss of control, chest pain, sweating, shake, chills and others. These should not be taken lightly and is advised to take medical help immediately.
Some ways to get through the panic attack are not to fight the attack and stay calm. Be confident feeling that the attack is not dangerous. Take deep and slow breaths. Close your eyes to divert the attack. Try to focus on positive and relaxing images.
