The Obama Administration today warned that the US forces would carry out more special operations on the Pakistani soil like the one carried out on Osama Bin Laden’s hideout last Sunday to eliminate some more high profile terrorists.
Asserting that these type of operations are highly successful, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney made it clear that the Obama Administration would continue with such attacks if Pakistan does not act against terror suspects hiding in that country.
“We will continue to bring to justice those terrorists who are plotting to do harm to Americans and our allies,” he warned.
The Pakistani government had described the American operation on its soil that killed Osama Bin Laden as ‘unauthorized unilateral.’ The statement by the White House today, however, makes it clear that it would not display any concerns to the Pakistan sentiments and objections on the issue and would go ahead with its own policy of eliminating terrorism.
