"DISTANT BEATS": A Different Heart Beat.

Jennifer (Trin Miller) is an aspiring musician who struggles to shine in the lime light. Govind (Bharat Ram) on the other side of the globe, in India, attempts to revive traditional classical music. They both undergo failures due to a difference in current demand. Andrew (Nathan Gifford) tries to help his sister and explore himself through a complete soul search to find his path to success. Raaga (Zarene Shaguft) is an independent, cheerful village girl who loves to sing folk songs and dance. She tries to fit in this puzzle and attempts to redefine success. 
 

In midst of repeated failures, Jennifer is convinced by her mother (Janet Hietter) that her focus is short lived. Similarly, Govind realized that real happiness is more than his aspiration as explained by his father (P J Sharma). In contrast, Andrew and Raaga add colors to their life while exploring different art forms subsequently visits a special education school for mentally challenged children. They all come together in this exciting life changing journey that impacts art and life.

 Distant Beats – a different heart beat is catching film festival's attention in United States. We attempt to introduce this Seattle based filmmaker to our readers.He is our very own Telugu person working on his passion being a full time IT professional.  

Sriram Vegaraju, written and directed this creative feature film - Distant Beats connecting the two countries, cultures, traditions with a universal beat.

Sriram Vegaraju born in a cozy town Rajahmundry, southern part of India on the River Banks of Godavari. Raised in a semi-orthodox family with broad minded parents Adinaryana Murthy and Syamala.  All his childhood and schooling was spent in this town. 
He studied in in Balavignana Mandir and his college time spent in BVK College, Visakhapatnam before he moved to Andhra University for higher studies. He is fond of theater art, dramatics and philanthropy.  His passion for theatre and films continue to grow with life. 
 
His started his IT profession in Hyderabad, Chennai and finally took a flight to Phoenix, Arizona.  He worked in IT global leaders while pursuing his Masters.He spent over 6 years in phoenix; Arizona worked in IT and continues to live his dream by contributing to community events.  He was an active member in Arizona Telugu Association. Later he moved to Seattle, where he attended film school and started working on shaping his film career while working with software global leader. 
He is attached to poetry and a big fan of Srisri and Devarakonda Tilak.  A spiritual mind and a strong devotee of Lord Venkateswara penned few lyrics in His praise. He produced few audio albums and donated to temples and devotional trusts.

                Meaning: “Let senses provoke me – Let Lord Indra pursue me for heavenly goodies

Distant Beats
Regarding films, he is an ardent fan for Megastar Chiranjeevi. He recollects watching movie ‘Kotala Rayudu’ in Syamala talkies in Rajahmundry, where his admiration started for megastar.
