Rajani’s Mumbai fans offer special prayers

Rajan ’s Mumbai fans offer special prayers Concerned about the health condition of the super star Rajanikanth, his fans in Mumbai organized special prayers and Pujas at the most famous Siddhivinayak temple in Mahim Thursday evening for his speedy recovery.

Notwithstanding the assurances by the superstar’s wife Ms. Latha Rajanikanth that everything is fine with Rajani, his fans have been passing through anxious moments ever since he was hospitalized for the third time in Chennai.

The temple priests conducted special pujas for two hours from 5.30 pm while the fans stood in rapt silence looking at his full size posters and praying for his speedy recovery.

Several members of Rajani’s fan clubs in Mumbai attended these special prayers.

K. Thilapathi Aadhimoolam, state head of the Rajinikanth Fans Welfare Association, said that there are a total of 150 branches for their association in Maharashtra with each branch containing a minimum of 25 members. He said 80 branches are located in Mumbai city alone and some of the fan clubs have even 100 members. “All the fan clubs are praying for his speedy recovery,” he said.
