The main co-conspirator in the 2G spectrum scam and DMK MP Ms. Kanimozhi may have to cool her heels for another month in the high security Tihar jail in Delhi.
Justice Ajit Bharihoke of the Delhi High Court reserved his order on the bail applications of Kanimozhi and Kalaignar TV Managing Director Sharad Kumar ten days ago. Since the High Court remains closed for a month from today for the summer vacation, every one thought that Justice Ajit Bharihoke would deliver his order on Friday.
The order however did not come yesterday and the High Court will reopen only on July 4. There is little chance of the judge coming to the Court in the summer vacation and delivering his order on their bail applications, though it is not ruled out.
As of now, the chances of her confinement in the Tihar till at least July 4 is a clear possibility unless the judge may take the initiative and delivers his order some day in the vacation period.
