To avoid this inconvenience and the make the airport experience a pleasant one, the Colchester-based Micro Scooters of the UK has researched and manufactured a ‘commuter scooter’ which can be used as your small time scooter that can also carry your case.
Presently, it is being sold at £250 apiece and most of frequent fliers are using this. You can ride this micro luggage case-cum scooter yourself in the terminal area and reach the flight in time without depending on a taxi.
The innovative ‘commuter scooter’ consists of a 26-litre case and a lean-and-steer scooter which can be separated for your convenience. Once you detach the case from the scooter, you can wheel around with it as in case of an ordinary suitcase.
“It would surely be useful at the terminal area for those who frequent the airports, especially the Heathrow for air travelling but if you ride on this on a road when you go to your work place, you would look like a joker,” said an employee in his reaction to the innovation.
