Delhi police today filed a charge sheet in a criminal court against former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh and five others in the cash for vote scam.
BJP MP Mr Ashok Argal, Amar Singh’s former aide Sanjeev Saxena and arrested middleman Sohail Hindustani are also among the accused in the charge sheet.
It might be mentioned that three BJP MPs waved wads of currency notes in Lok Sabha ahead of a trust vote on July 22, 2008 and alleged they were given the money by Amar Singh to vote in favour of the Manmohan Singh government.
