Vettel secures 13th pole, equals Alain Prost, Senna

VettleWorld champion Sebastian Vettel of the Red Bull has grabbed his 13th pole of the Formula One season in the qualifying of the Indian Grand Prix taking off at the Buddh International Circuit at the Greater Noida near Delhi on Sunday.

With this, Vettel has become one on par with Alain Prost and the late Ayrton Senna in holding the number of pole positions in a season. Vettel secured a time of 1:24.178, ahead of teammate Mark Webber and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso. Earlier, Vettel set the fastest time in Saturday's final practice session ahead of qualifying.

Hamilton finished behind Vettel securing a time of 1:24.474. However, he has to go at fifth position on race day due to his grid penalty imposed on him in the first practice session on Friday.

B-town celebrities ready to sizzle

As the country is bracing up to host the first motor racing extravaganza, Formula One, the Bollywood celebrities are getting ready to sizzle for the event.

The event will see international pop star Lady Gaga performing this Sunday and actors like Shahrukh Khan and Arjun Rampal have tweeted saying they can’t wait any more for the event to take off.
