Bloody-strip search of 84-yr old granny at New York airport

The 84- year old granny Lenore Zimmerman underwent a traumatic experience last week at the Kennedy Airport, New York. She was stripped since she wanted to avoid the metal detector so that her defibrillator stayed unaffected.

Lenore Zimmerman says she was on her way to a flight to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, when security workers forced her to strip down to her underwear when she requested to avoid the metal detector to make sure that her defibrillator would not be affected. Rather than being patted down by a female Transportation Security Administration officials as she normally is. The process took so long that she ended up missing her original flight and had to take a later one.

Lenore Zimmerman asked `why are you doing this? I walk with a walker I really look like a terrorist. But the Transportation Security Administration officials said as per procedure. Horrified over the experience the granny decided to sue the agency for the humiliation.’

TSA denied the strip act and released a statement, `TSA contacted the passenger to apologize that she feels she had an unpleasant screening experience; however, TSA does not include strip searches in its protocols and a strip search did not occur in this case.’

Asked if she accepts the TSA apology, she said, `Yes. I may sue them anyway because it was a very traumatic experience.’ She added that the agency was lying.
