Terrorists may steal Pak nuke arms, warns US leader

America’s leading Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich today warned the world that there was no security to Pakistan’s nuclear weapons as the country’s army was deeply penetrated by the Islamic terrorists.

In an interview to the CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer, he said that Pakistan was in possession of around 100 nuclear weapons and we may hear one fine morning that they have lost three or four of them.

Gingrich, a former Speaker of the US House of Representatives, said the Pakistani military was capable of protecting Bin Laden for six years secretly. “This means the army is deeply penetrated by Islamic terrorists and there is no guarantee that the extremist elements would not lay their hands on the nuclear arsenal,” he said.

No one in the world believes that the Pak army didn’t know the presence of Osama bin Laden at a safe house in Abbottabad, hardly a mile away from national military university, he observed in response to question.

Throughout the interview, he wanted to convey the theory that Pak military intelligence knew about the presence of Laden amid them. “It leads us to believe that the terrorists have infiltrated the army to the core,” Gingrich said. (JUBS)
