Very soon Karnataka will indicate the entry of former prime minister H.D. Deve Gowda's grand son K. Nikhil into politics.

K. Nikhil who is currently pursuing his MBA in Bangalore and he is the son of Karnataka former chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy.So now Deve Gowda is ready to bring his grandson K. Nikhil as a youth wing leader of the Janata Dal(S) in the state's politics in an unfamiliar face.

As we get to know that H.D. Deve Gowda will guide Nikhil,And ofcourse Nikhil's parents are by that time elected representatives.As Nikhil has not been seen at any political forum to date.The Janata Dal(S) youth convention in Haliyal (Uttara Kannada district) on January 28 will see him addressing the party workers for the first time.

Several family members of Gowda hold important positions in the JD(S). Kumaraswamy's wife Anita is an MLA. The former CM's elder brother H.D. Revanna is also an MLA and has been a minister twice in the past.

Revanna's wife Bhavani is also likely to contest the next assembly elections. Gowda's other son, Balakrishne Gowda, is in charge of the party's strategy during elections.

Confirming his son's entry into the party, Kumaraswamy said there was a strong demand from party workers of Uttara Kannada district for Nikhil's presence at the convention. "However, we have not planned any role for him. Let's see how he progresses," he added.

Well as per the trustworthy sources, Janata Dal(S) is hopefully to accredit H.D. Deve Gowdas grand son Nikhil to the Channapatna assembly constituency, As that is a portion of the Ramanagara parliamentary segment enacted by Karnataka former chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy.   (TS)
