Reports quoting Pakistani Intelligence officials said today US war planes conducted raids on terrorist hide outs on Pak soil early in the morning.

The raids, conducted in the country’s northwest province, killed four persons and destroyed a vehicle. One house was also destroyed in the attack.

Reports said the Drone attacks took place in Degan village in the North Waziristan tribal area and the killed terrorists were foreigners. US military officials refused to talk about the attacks as a matter of policy but sources said many senior Taliban and al-Qaida commanders have been killed in the missile attacks.

The government of Pakistan has not released an official statement till now on the incident. It may be recalled that the US and the Pakistani Governments have been at loggerheads for some days over the US attacks on Pakistani soil and Pak military has warned the US of serious consequences if such attacks are repeated.
