Arnold Schwarzenegger lands in Delhi, to attend Green Globe Foundation Awards

Arnie as his fans call him is on a maiden visit to India. He is the guest of honor at the 4th edition of the Panasonic Green Globe Foundation Awards.
The former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger who has seen a successful film career will be at the day-long 12th Delhi Sustainable Development Summit presided over by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and will attend the Green Globe Foundation Awards Ceremony that evening. The Terminator fame arrived in New Delhi, today. This his first visit to India.
He shall present the Green Globe award to Abhishek Bachchan for outstanding efforts in fighting climate changes by a celebrity. Schwarzenegger will be staying in the city for just a day and has no plans of exploring the rest of the country. The event is organized at the Taj Palace, in the evening. The event is an initiative by Wizcraft International and is partnered by distinguished knowledge partners, including The Energy Resources Institute (TERI) led by Nobel Laureate, Dr. R K Pachauri and the United Nations Environment Programme.
