Child suicide bombers destined for Pakistan caught by Afghan police

On Monday February 21 Afghan government said that they saved 41 children evolving into suicide bombers as they were about to be transported over the mountains into Pakistan.
Sediq Sediqqi who is the Interior ministry representative said that the children who are of the age 6 to 11 years are released from the hands of four rebels in eastern Kunar region on February 15.
He told that the children families were mislead by terrorists that they are sending the children to seminaries in Pakistan. Where as the terrosits were to brainwash chaildren get them ready for suicide bombings. Police arrested four suspects and the children were returned to their families.
On February 12, Afghan authorities announced the arrest of two 10-year-old would-be suicide bombers allegedly planning to attack Afghan and international forces in the southern province of Kandahar, the Taliban’s birthplace.
Other children were released last year August, subsequent to have granted forgiveness from Afghan President Hamid Karzai. (TS)
