Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalitha has expressed her dissatisfaction over the A Raja coming out of Tihar jail on bail. She has hinted at possible chances of 2G spectrum scam case getting diluted. It is known that the former Telecommunications Minister was arrested by the CBI and produced him before the court, which remanded him to Tihar jail February 2011 in connection with the irregularities that took place in the allotment of 2G Spectrum licenses.
The Central Bureau of Investigation Special Judge O P Saini has granted conditional bail to the main accused in the case, Raja on Tuesday. When the media asked Jayalalitha on the same, she said she came to know about the release of Raja only when she was questioned on reaction by the reporters. She said the 2G case would likely to get diluted.
Meanwhile, DMK-the party to which Raja belonged to-expressed its happiness on the bail. The party members welcomes the court’s decision. It has to be mentioned here that as a part of the condition laid down while granting bail, Raja is being barred from entering Tamil Nadu as long as he’s an accused in the case. (Phani)
