Self styled godman Nithyananda Swamy is absconding even after police launching a manhunt for him 48 hours ago. Already, the police took the so called godman's ashram in Bidadi of Ramnagar district into their custody. The decision of arresting Nithyananda was made by the chief minister Sadananda Gowda over two issues—the scuffle between Nithyananda's followers and reporters that took place on Friday and over the interview of a US based lady on a vernacular channel eludicating the way she was being sexually exploited by Nithyananda.

The Ramnagara police who launched a manhunt for him are now planning to arrest all those who were named in the FIR in connection with the scuffle on Friday. Also, the sources said the police are likely to seize the ashram near Bangalore. It may be recalled that the police filed criminal cases against Nithyananda and his devotees acting against a complaint received from a newschannel reporter alleging that he was being assualted at a press conference.

It is always noble to look God in an individual as it's known that hands that help are better than lips that prey. However, one should know that a man who claims he's a godman will never demand and enjoy richness and pleasure.
