The murder of a four-year-girl in Bangalore on Thursday has sent shockwaves across the state. The little girl, who went missing on Monday, was found dead in a decomposed state with head head smashed. The police noticed some bones near the legs of the dead girl, which gave raise to suspicious that the girl had fallen prey to black magic.

The police booked the case and the investigation was on. According to the police, Harshita was the daughter of daily wage workers from Gauribidanur. Harshita's mother, Anita came to her mother's as she was a nine-month-old pregnant. While Harshita's husband stayed back at Gauribidanur, Anita and her daughter reached Rathnamma's residence (Anita's mother) in Papanna Layout. Harshita went missing on Monday and mother Anita lodged a complaint with Yelanhanka police the same day.

The police got information from a few sheperds about a decomposed body on Thursday morning. The police rushed to the spot and identified the giirl as Harshita.
