A rare wax mould of Einstein is now on sale on eBay and experts believe it can fetch a staggering £1million. What could make a wax mould so unique and isn't £1million a little bit on the higher side?
This moud is considered one of a kind as it had been comissioned to be made by Einstein himself in 1947. The wax has been peeled off Einsteins skin to make the mould and this makes truly one of a kind and cannot be replicated. 60 years after it has been ordered to be made, it is for sale for the first time on eBay.
The waxwork was purchased by Herbert Moore, the owner of the Mammoth Cave Wax Museum where it was on display for half a century. The wax sculpture is the 'magnum opus' of the popular American wax sculpturer, Katherine Stubergh. It is believed that 2 such sculptures of wax have been made but there is no news about the whereabouts of the other one.
Sources have stated that the mould is among the finest of the wax sculptures ever made and is in “mint condition”.
The sculpture is now on sale as the musuem has been closed recently in May. The sculpture comes along with the body and real hair too.
