A woman killed her own daughter, probably ashamed, after her husband raped their daughter. The woman from Amritsar alleged that her husband raped their seven year old daughter who was adopted. The woman stabbed her yesterday night and killed her. After killing her daughter, she attempted to bleed herself to death by cutting her veins. Fortunately she survived the suicide attempt and is being treated at the hospital.

Sakshi had already informed the Amritsar police of her husband's misdeeds 3 days ago and lodged a complaint. The police have also taken action by arresting the husband. But Sakshi's in-laws harassed her to the degree where she felt the need for her last resorts. She killed her daughter by stabbing her and then attempted to die by cutting her veins.

The police of Amritsar have booked a case against her too. Further details are awaited.
