Mamatha felicitates Pranab on his victory in the Presidential Elections

Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamatha Banarjee had called and congratulated Pranab Mukherjee over the phone regarding his victory in the Presidential poll. She also said that she would be present at his swearing in ceremony which is to be held on the 25th of July.
She had called him on Sunday after his victory over his opponent, P A Sangma.
Talking to the press she told them that she was invited personally by Pranab Muhkerjee to the swearing in ceremony on the 25th of July. Supremo of the Trinamool Congress also said that “Responding to his request, I agreed to attend the ceremony” and invited him to West Bengal on his victory.
Sources from the TMC said that Banarjee would leave for New Delhi on 24 July and return on the following day after the ceremony. Kunal Ghosh, MP of TMC, had said that Mukerjee told the Chief Minister that her support in the elections was very important and that his win would have been incomplete without it.
Mamatha Banarjee accepted to support the candidature of Mukherjee only 2 days before the elections prior to which she had opposed the support of TMC to Mukherjee.
