Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal had offered an apology for the unnecessary scuffles between the crusading team supporters and mediapersons yesterday night at Jantar Mantar. Anna Hazare, the anti graft movement leader was going on an indefinite hunger strike. Hazare threatened the team members that he would stop the fast if such misbehavior and violence repeated again, He also asked his team members to keep away from any kind of confrontations with the media.

The incident at 10 pm happened after the team members started an argument with the media people. A member of Team Anna had also alleged that the protest was being projected in the wrong light which eld to the quarrel. The supporters of Team Anna later flung abuses at the media persons and protested against the media by raising slogans.

The Broadcast Editors' Association (BEA) had condemned the incident and demanded an apology from Team Anna. In a press release the BEA said that the attack on the mediapersons was interfering with their legitimate duties of covering the agitations. They said they deserve an apology from the team members for the misbehavior.

Team Anna member Kumar Vishwas had condemned the incident earlier and also said that it should not have taken place at all.
