As shocking as the Wisconsin gurudwara shootings, the suspect gunman was identified as a army veteran who was in his forties. The suspect who had open fired in the holy Sikh Temple killing at least six and injuring several others was identified as Michael Page .

Details regarding his identity were found after his Cudahy duplex apartment was rummaged by the police after the shootings in the Milwaukee's Oak Creek suburb.

The veteran was White, Single and an Army veteran who had sported a 9/11 tattoo on his arm. Kurt Weins a resident of 3700 block of E Holmes Avenue in Cudahy has revealed a few details related to him. He also said that he might have been from Chicago and there were no records of previous violence he was involved. Weins was unaware of the fact that his tenant was the suspect in shootings while he answered.

Several news agencies claimed the shootings were the work of a "white supremacist" or "skinhead".

FBI has treated the attack as domestic terrorism after investigating the biographic details and the tattoo on hi arm as described by the eyewitnesses.
