Akhilesh Yadav commissions a behemoth park

After Mayawati had created a few controversial parks and several other such memorials, it is now the turn of Akhilesh Yadav to follow in her lines. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has commissioned a park of his own that would cover a sprawling area of over 367 acres.

The cost that would be involved in the park is undoubtedly not a small figure but it had not been disclosed. Akhilesh Yadav had said that the funding would be  provided completely by the government.

This park is to be named Janehswar Mishra Park and would be 4 times bigger than the Ambedkar Memorial which was commissioned by Mayawati. The most interesting aspect is that the park has been commissioned to be built on the exact same area which was proposed for the Ambedkar Green Garden by Mayawati's government.

This vast expanse of the park would have over 90% of greenery along with a cycling and a jogging track.

Mayawati's Ambedkar park in Lucknow is spread across 98 acres; together the Kanshi Ram Memorial and the Eco Park cover an area of 228 acres and the Noida memorial is spread out in 88 acres but none comes closer to this park proposed by Akhilesh Yadav.
