Wild wild west had just become wilder with the incident that was witnessed by the town of Derby on Thursday as a man from Vermont had run over seven police cruisers crushing them with his tractor. The police have reported the incident on Friday.
Roger Pion, 34, had been charged with seven counts of unlawful mischief and three other charge after the crushing incident. The 34 year old who crushed the cruisers belonging to the department of the Orleans Country Sheriff hailed from Newport in Vermont.
An eyewitness, Rene Morris, said that she had a feeling of being in a monster jam rally or similar of sorts. She added that what happened before her eyes was, simply put, unbelievable as he casually backed up on a cruiser and made his way to other vehicles and reduced them to pulp.
The damage as estimated by the police amounted to $250,000 though they have not been able to workout a motive for the incident and it was being investigated, the police said.
