Two people, a man and another family member were attacked in what was understood to be a road rage on the DND flyway on Thursday.
Kaushal the man who was assaulted said that he was stopped on his way and was attacked near the toll plaza on DND on Wednesday evening. Apart from assaulting the man, the attacker also tried to molest a woman passenger in his car.
FIR had been registered and CCTV footages have been obtained already. Police are now scrutinizing the video to identify the assaulters.
The police said that this was a case of molestation and road rage after they have registered the FIR.
"It was road rage and molestation attempt. We have lodged the FIR and are trying to identify the accused through CCTV footage," a police officer said.
