In a rare case when a car hit a scooter, two passengers in the car died after their car swerved into a pile of bricks on the side of the road early on Wednesday. The scooter rider was injured in the accident.
The accident took place at 2 am in Alipur, west of Delhi. Rishi, 32, and Saurabh, 25, were both returning from Jammu and Kashmir to Delhi after a tour.
Rishi lost control of the vehicle while driving and rammed into a scooter rider and then into a pile of bricks on the side of the road which were laid for the construction of a house at Murthal, police officials said.
All the three were rushed to Babu Jagjivan Ram hospital where the car travelers were declared dead while Mukhesh,33, the scooter was take to Raja Harish Chand hospital.
They hit the bricks so hard hat the shaft from the steering wheel had broke and pierced Rishi's abdomen which took more than 30 minutes for the police to get him out of the vehicle.
Mukhesh is undergoing treatment in the hospital and the doctors said that he was out of danger.
