In Pandua Hoogly, a jittered lover had resorted to acid attack against his lover who rejected him. The victim also suffered severe burn injuries.
The 25 year old woman, Saheba Khatoon, had been attacked at Debra Masjidtala in Hooghly.
Rizwannur Rehman and his friend Sweet Mandal on Saturday evening had attacked the woman while she was going to the toiled close to her house.
