60 violators penalized for use of tinted glasses

The Indore Traffic police have one again started their drive against the people using the tinted windows in the cars. The attack and warnings have been more serious this time too. In the previous drive the cops have only warned the violators but this time around the cops took another step further and penalized over  60 owners of four-wheelers.
DSP Traffic Pradeep Singh Chauhan, said, "WThe drive has been launched to curb use of tinted glasses in cars. When the drive was launched last time, we had just warned people against the use of tinted glasses. This time we are penalizing them for the offence."

ASP Traffic Anjana Tiwari said that they were following the orders of the Supreme Court and that there were merely enforcing it.
The public however are expressing their dissent over the action against the tinted windows. A few people said that they used the tinted windows to prevent any mishaps such as thefts as they left their valuables in their cars while they parked them temporarily for a while such as cameras, laptops, cellphones etc. They are reluctantly abiding by the law forced upon them by the supreme court.

The reason for the women was stronger who claimed that it would prevent miscreants from noticing that it was a lady behind the wheel especially in the dark when they are on the prowl for their prey. One woman said,  "With no tinted glasses, it becomes easier for them to spot women driving alone and this may invite trouble."
