Academy nominee Michael Duncan dies at 54

Noted actor Michael Clarke Duncan who is most prominently known for his prolific action in the Green Mile alongside Tom Hanks, had breathed his last today. His role as an inmate on the death row in the Green Mile had won the hears of several million people across the world. A man with a great baritone voice, Duncan also provided voice over for several animation movies like the Kung Fu Panda. He was 54.

His other notable performances include Armageddon, Planet of the Apes and few other box office hits. He also appears on the credits of the TV shows like apprentice, Two and a half men among other popular shows.

On Monday morning, Duncan was declared dead at the Cedars- Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where he was admitted for the treatment of a Heart Attack. Earlier He had suffered from Myocardial Infarction on July 13 of which he had never recovered completely. His fiancee and reality TV star Rev Omarosa Manigault told the details of the death in a press statement that was released by Joy Fehily.

Bearing a great personality this 6-foot 4 inch star initially started out as a body guard and had suddenly moved to acting in his 30's. "Manigault is grateful for all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time. Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date." the statement released by Joy Fehily said.
