The Delhi police who had found the body of a Delhi-based tattoo artist, Paras Bhasin, in a mutilated condition said on Tuesday that his body was mutilated by not chopped into pieces. They told that his body was compressed and disintegrated with the impact and added that they had not ruled out murder.
They said that the head of the body had been pushed into the body cavity with the pressure from compression and that it was not chopped off.
On Monday morning, Paras Bhasin's corpse was found at the railway tracks of Ganesh Nagar, East Delhi by the police.
Bhasin's family had alleged that this could be the deeds of his in-laws who constantly tormented him and often threatened him. The frequently humiliated him on account of marriage. The wife was also under house-arrest for several days after the marriage.
They added that Bhasin had called up his uncle from Manesar and that he too was humiliated and threatened by his in-laws, on Friday.
The family alleged that this was a clear case of honor killing by the girl's family who had been against their marriage.
