PM speech disrupted at Vigyan Bhawan

On Saturday, Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister had to face an audacious display of revelry against his reforms and recent changes implemented, when he was at the Vigyan Bhavan to address the international conference at Delhi.

The man protested against the prime minister saying that he should go back. "Prime Minister go back," the man shouted jeering Manmohan Singh while he was walking up the aisle to the podium to speak to in the international conference. The PM was to address at the 'Conference on Economic Growth in Asia and Changes of Corporate Environment'.

The PM had to delay his speech for a while as the security took care of the man pacifying the plenary hall as they took him out.

Police officials said the protester has been detained for questioning.

The conference, organised by Indian Law Institute, had registered attendance from several  legal notables across Asia and also the Chief Justice of India SH Kapadia, and Salman Khursid, the Law Minister.
