A woman tried to cheat the security at Indian Space Research Organization, ISRO, headquarters in Bangalore by faking an ID Card. She was immediately arrested by the Central Industrial Security Force, CISF, on September 21. She had several fake ID cards.
IN a general checkup at the Yelahanka headquarters, she was asked for a ID card after which she drew out her fake card and gave it to the security who had immediately identified the card to be ingenuous and then detained the woman. A major security breach was averted.
Originally hailing from Ahmedabad, the 40 year old Buela M Sam was claimed to by mentally unstable by her husband Alex who is a school techer in Kerala. He said that she was being treated, and the police are yet to confirm his claims.
Police commissioner of Bangalore added that the woman had stayed at the guest house of the facility but was spotted while she tried to enter the campus at the check post.
After being arrested by the Bangalore police she was produced before a court which ordered judicial custody till October 6. She has been booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 171, 448, 471, 465 and 467.
