Parminder, a 19 year old, was like most other teens at his age, dreaming of a bike. What was unusual was his method of trying to own it. Monstrous Parminder had abducted a 5 year old kid who lived in the surroundings of his house while he planned to ask for a ranson. Shubh Rawal the victim, was later murdered only a few hours after the impatient accused could see no ways of fulfiling his dream with the kidnap. His crime was abetted by another teenage friend, a Class X student who lived nearby.

 Shubh, the son of defense scientists, was playing at the dias set for the Ganesh Chaturthi rites in the colony as Parminder had lured him with a chocolate after which he was taken to a forest. He demanded the child to reveal his father's number so he could blackmail the father for ransom of five lakhs but the kid refused to tell Parminder. He then gagged and choked the kid who died of suffocation. Pune Police had arrested the accused and the accomplice.
