Salman shows Kejriwal the legal card

Salman Khurshid, the Union Law Minister, has not kept silent on the defamation he suffered due to the allegations of Arvind Kejriwal which are yet to be probed. Khurshid announced that he would tackle Kejriwal legally. He also said that he would take legal action against the Hindi News channel, Aaj Tak. In the earlier allegations, and a sting operation by the TV channel, they alleged that Khurshid and his wife had siphoned of several lakhs which were supposed to be funds to the NGO they had been running for the Physically challenged in Uttar Pradesh.

Salman said, "Do you really think I am mad? That I would siphon off money? Where we've been working for 15 years...giving people tricycles, giving people different implements. This is my constituency. You don't cheat on the people of your constituency," talking to an Indian news channel in London. He also added, further slamming them, "I think what they've done is worse than behaving like gutter snipes. The only answer they deserve is suitable suit filed in court - and that will be done both civil and criminal procedures," he said.

After the sting operation by the TV Channel, which had alleged embezzlement of funds, Kejriwal demanded the resignation of the Law Minister and critiqued that it was the nation's shame to have a corrupt man as the law minister, and a head of a NGO. He has also announced that he would gherao Sonai Gandhi's residence to push for action against the minister.

The minister had counter-questioned the India Against Corruption member, and now a Party leader, Kejriwal asking him the sources of his income that allow him to move around the nation. He also added as "but we'll take care of Mr Kejriwal in due course, don't worryā€¯ as a warning to Arvind.
