The Pakistani Child activist, Malala, who had stood up against the Taliban militancy at a very young age of 11 had been shot in the head and neck but the doctors now confirmed that her condition was better and stable. They mentioned that Malala had a 70% chance of survival on Thursday.
The open fire from the Taliban was condemned and denounced worldwide. Two other friends of Malala Yousafzai were also injured in the attack. The Pakistani authorities have placed a bounty of $100,000 on the attackers. It is known that the firing was a retribution for the campaign supporting the right to education for females during two-year Taliban insurgence in the region.
Interior Minister mentioned that Malala's attackers were identified and would be brought to justice immediately. The Taliban groups earlier claimed responsibility for the attack on the teenage girl.
The minister also added that the doctors are satisfied that she is now out of danger.
