Law Minister Salman Khurshid had gone all out on India Today group after they had alleged that the NGO trust run by him had a few financial inconsistencies after the TV network had conducted probes and drafted the reports. But India Today Group announced that they would not retract the report even after the attempts from the Union Law minister to trash the allegations.
Khurshid had presented a few documents that claimed that the reports from the TV network were fictitious.
"Khurshid should answer the questions raised in the report and this is not a matter of debate and opinion", India Today said in a statement.
The statement also affirmed that the reports they drafted were a result of investigation which brought out "hard and incontrovertible" facts that they got from the state and central government documents.
