In today's age, the number of couples who share a happy life after tying the knot have dwindled greatly and those celebrating silver jubilee anniversaries are far too less. But one NRI couple originally from Punjab have managed to live 100 years each and an unbelievable 87 years together. Karam and Katari Chand today are 107 and 100 years old but they have never parted each other since they were together. They have eight children and 28 grandchildren today.

An extremely sweet couple, the loving husband is a romantic in his own ways. Humorously he adds, "My trick is to make Katari laugh. I like to tell jokes and make her smile. Being funny is my way of being romantic”.

The current record holders in the Guinness World Records are a couple who have stayed together for 82 years which is five years lesser than the centurion couple from Bradford. Daily Mail reports that the couple would soon be confirmed as the longest married couple to date by the Guinness World Records authorities.

"I have been told laughing makes you live longer. My wife is still alive so it must have worked! I love her so much and I want to spend another 80 years by her side," Karam said. Karam and Katari have shared a romantic life all along their lives and have understood that the little things in life that can make you happy would keep the relationship healthier than ever.
