In a very shocking manner, Nitin Nikam, a MNS corporator publicly slapped a 65 year old senior private contractor named DV Patil. So far the police hasn't taken any hard action against the MNS leader.

Nikam was angry over the contractor's inability to repair a water pipeline which was causing a shortage in the area. "I had come there to fix the leakage but he started beating me," Patil said.

Now, despite the incident was caught on camera, Police have filed only  a non-cognizable offence. Though the incident is not so unexpected from the MNS because of it's history of rough justice , but what is more shocking is the response of the police.

KDMC commissioner Ramnath Sonawane said, "We are investigating and will take action against those found guilty."
