Gujarat's Polling count seemed to be rather one sided, with a definite victory for Narendra Modi and BJP, the situation is not the same in Himachal Pradesh. Congress seemed to have a slightly better footing in Himachal Pradesh as they lead in 37/ 68 seats in the state.

Meanwhile BJP has been leading only in 24 seats. It is to be observed that BJP which earlier had a better proportion of seats has been conceeding them to Congress and other parties in Gujarat which is considered to be the stronghold of BJP.

Same is the situation in Himachal Pradesh where the Congress and other parties have siezed over 15 seats which were earlier in BJP's hold.

Though this may not be conclusive yet to understand whether Congress will win the elections or not but it is congress that enjoys the respite in the state currently.
