The condition of the victim of the gangrape has worsened, according to the doctors. The medical superintended of Safdargunj Hospital in New Delhi has said that she's has been facing breathing problems. When ventilator was taken out, the 23-year-old victim was given fruit juice last night, he said. Doctors even tried to make her walk last night. She walked a few steps, said doctors.

The doctors from psychiatry and psychology department have said that she was composed and responding to the questions of the doctors. They even said that the victim was optimistic about the future and was not sad. It may be recalled that 23-year-old medical student (physiotherapy) was raped on Sunday night in a moving bus when she was on the way to her home after she watched a movie in the city. She and her boy friend were severly beaten up with iron rods after six persons raped her.

A large number of people (suposedly in lakhs) staged protests in Delhi demanding a stringent law againt the rapists after this incident took place. The condition in Delhi is still said to be tense and the police imposed CrPC Section 144 at many places.
