Cloistered away in the Oriental seas, N.Korea has made a huge progress, probably disastrous, in the nuclear warhead technology, which still remains a dream for the West. A rocket launch in December, 2012 proved that N.Korea has not the capacity to launch a Nuclear warhead that could land in the West Coast of US, almost 10,000 km away.
On 12th December, the North Korean officials said that they had launched a weather satellite in orbit but it was not their only motive. The ulterior achievement they made was the technology that would allow them to bundle together a nuclear warhead and a long-range missile to make it a ultra-long-range missile.
South Korea has analyzed the debris and the parts of the first-stage rocket that landed close to its west coast and mentioned that Unha-3 is North Korea's achievement of a missile that could be fired 10,000km away with a warhead that weighed 500-600 kgs.
