Prince Harry, now an RAF helicopter pilot deployed in Afghanistan, has reportedly killed a Taliban leader in the ranks of a commander. This is also his first kill, the British media mentioned.

The 27-year prince, third in line to the throne after being called in for airstrike while the troops tracked a commander-level Taliban leader, shot down a 100lb Hellfire Missile from a Apache Helicopter and hit the target. This also marks the first time Harry was ever involved in any fatal operation against the Taliban.

This attack could be dated back to October this year when he was deployed for the second time to Afghanistan as a gunship co-pilot.

His army mates call him Captain Harry Wales. Working for the Apache unit, the unit with most kill rate in the war, Harry is sure to have some big heads in his list soon.

As the co-pilot gunner, Harry commands missions, fires the weapons, navigates and sometimes take over the controls. His mission in Afghanistan, he described, were simply “awesome”.
