Aarushi-Hemraj murder case: Court cross-examines ex-CBI officer

Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case is still going on. As on Wednesday, the Central Bureau of Investigation has completed cross-examination of retired CBI officer Vijay Kumar. Notably, he was first officer when CBI took up Aarushi murder case. The reports indicated that Vijay Kumar told the CBI court that he has carried out investigation efficiently and conducted polygraph tests on the accused in the case - Nupur and Rajesh Talwar, who were parents of Aarushi.

Also, he reportedly said that one Raj Kumar, who was an assistant to the doctor couple, admitted his role in the double murders when narco analysis test was conducted. It has to be mentioned here that the court of law doesn't take narco analysis tests as substantial evidences. However, those tests are conducted to enable the investigation authorities to conduct the probe in a particular angle.

Notably, dentist couple, Nupur and Rajesh Talwar are the main accused in the double murder case and CBI, which probed the case, said that the couple murdered Aarushi and Hemraj after they found the duo in a compromising position.

Andhra Wishesh has given a detailed report including the chronology of events right from murder of Aarushi-Hemraj to the turns and twists in the investigation.
