Prominent global anti-poverty push takes place!

Notwithstanding economic crises as well as diminishing aid, the UN announced on Monday huge progress had been made towards meeting the so-called Millennium Development Goals, including its bid to striking violently world hunger in half intermediate to 1990 and 2015.

Furthermore, UN progress report on its eight Millennium goals said that given efforts filled with life and energy, the target of halving the percentage of people suffering from hunger by 2015 appears within reach. Thirteen years ago, world leaders drew up the MDG's, with specific targets to diminish poverty while also cease the spread of AIDS at the same time improve education, gender equality, child and maternal health along with environmental stability. In fact, UN chief Ban Ki-moon approved enthusiastically the advancement made, insisting in Monday's report that the goals have been the most prominent global anti-poverty push in history.
